The Empire Advantage: Stability Through Domestic Manufacturing

In today’s dynamic market, external factors can create uncertainty. However, we at Empire have always maintained a strong desire to manufacture in America.  We are committed to maintaining stability in cost, quality and on time delivery for our customers through our core business model: in-house manufacturing first and sourcing domestically in the USA second.

Our dedication to producing equipment at our facilities in the USA provides us with distinct advantages. By sourcing a significant amount of our parts, components, and assemblies domestically, including from within Pennsylvania and Indiana, we can keep our supply chain close and more predictable. This approach helps us work with our domestic suppliers to maintain stability in pricing, supply chain, and quality.

We handle much of our manufacturing process in-house, from raw materials to painting the finished product. We are always reinvesting into our fabrication capabilities including recent expansions with new CNC equipment. This level of control allows us to deliver consistent quality and adapt to custom automation needs and modifications with greater flexibility. If needed, our engineers can personally check on vendors for our castings, ensuring quality control that would be impossible with overseas suppliers.

While some components like electrical switches and components are outsourced, we are doing everything in our power to continue purchasing domestically. This focus on a domestic supply chain helps us manage costs and avoid the volatility associated with import surcharges. By controlling our manufacturing process and supply chain, we are able to maintain a stable and consistent pricing model.
