RPB's Astro (left) and Nova (right) compressed-air breathing kits include all the parts required to filter air delivered from a compressor feed line. Both systems, when properly maintained, supply grade "D" air to the operator. A carbon monoxide monitor, required by OSHA, is sold separately. These systems do not remove carbon monoxide, a potentially lethal gas, from air supplied by the compressor.
Empire supports RPB filters with multi-stage replacement cartridges that expedite maintenance. The Radex airline filter system offers you increased filtration capacity and versatility with either floor- or wall-mounting options.

Free-air pumps mitigate carbon-monoxide hazards by drawing on ambient air instead of air from a compressor. Nevertheless, the intake ports on these pumps must be kept away from harmful gases to assure operator safety. Empire offers pumps from RPB and Bullard® with one, two and four operator feeds.
